MA SHLOMKHA

"Hey!" is a common

informal greeting among friends in Western culture that can evoke a feeling of close connection with another. Another contemporary way to say hello: How’s it going? is an open ended greeting that really is not wanting or expecting a deeper response. It would be out of bounds to actually respond with a detailed recollection of recent events. 

The Hebrew greeting, similar to this, “Ma Shlomkha?” is a bit more specific and sincere, meaning, “How are you?” This communicates a more genuine concern. Literally, you are asking “What is your peace?”

“Shalom, shalom,” is a blessing contained in a greeting. It can also be used when departing, to bless another person. In history, among covenant (faith) people, when uttered from a sincere heart, an actual blessing is imparted. 

The meaning of shalom to the person who speaks the Hebrew language is actually much deeper than the English equivalent, “peace.” While “peace” is the core meaning, it actually carries additional weight, a wish for prosperity, safety and protection and restoration in every area of life. 

A popular definition that captures the weight of shalom: ”Nothing missing, nothing lacking, nothing broken.” It is helpful when praying peace over a person or group of people to speak this in their hearing. 

There are some that break down the ancient Hebrew hieroglyphs that form the word shalom, four Hebrew letters, to mean Destroy Authority Binds Chaos. That is, similar to other eastern languages, each letter has a meaning of its own. 

To me, this elevates the blessing, “Shalom” to another level. It is more than a passive wish for peace and well-being. It recognizes that there are unseen forces in this world that want to disrupt the harmony in our lives. By speaking shalom we can activate a power that encompasses a person or home, protecting them from anything that wishes to disrupt their happiness or divine order. Shalom DESTROYS the AUTHORITY that BINDS us to CHAOS. Read that again.

Jesus definitely understood this. When commissioning his twelve to go ahead of him into the various towns where he was about to visit and preach, he told them, “Whenever you enter someone’s home, first say, ‘May God’s peace be on this house.’ If those who live there are peaceful, the blessing will stand; if they are not, the blessing will return to you.” (Luke 10:5-6, NLT)

Leonard Nimoy, who helped develop the character Spock on the series Star Trek, introduced the concept of shalom with the Vulcan greeting, "Live long and prosper!” with his hand extended in blessing. This he adopted from his childhood remembering the rabbinical blessing.

I also recall how the hippies around me in the 70s used to say “Peace, man!” when coming and going. It is a shame that more of us didn't adopt this (although the so-called peace sign that was sewn on so many hippie jackets and jeans was an upside down broken cross, implying that a destruction of Christianity would lead to World Peace)!

Unfortunately, our contemporary greetings lack any weight to impart a blessing. I challenge everyone reading this to begin speaking peace and blessing to the people around you. In a time of turmoil and chaos it may make a difference in your own home as well as your personal circle of friends and acquaintances.

At first it may seem awkward but practice speaking the shalom blessing and watch the atmosphere around you begin to change!

Things Are Listening

Modern quantum physics is discovering mysteries about the world around us that affirm very ancient teachings about the laws of the universe.

We typically think that God gave humans language for the purpose of communication, but this is not the primary purpose of words. 

The Bible teaches that God created humans in His image, which means, in our original created state, we would have been able to think, talk and act like Him.

Humanity lost connection with our original design when we decided to rebel against His perfect leadership.

But when God sent Jesus, His Son into the world to pay the penalty for humankind's rebellion, He restored us back into a relationship with our Good Designer!

Now, because of what Jesus has done through His death on the cross, each of us can experience daily interaction with God, our loving Father.

By following the Father's advice each day, our lives can find meaning and purpose. Each of us is designed to flourish in this world and accomplish great things for God and ourselves.

So, getting back to the purpose of language, God and people use can words to communicate ideas to one other, but the Bible teaches that God's first purpose for language, was to create things.

"In the beginning [of things] God said [by decree], 'Let there be [things]!' And the result was THINGS. (see Genesis 1)

"Therefore, be imitators of God, as dearly loved children, and walk in love..." Ephesians 5:1 CSB

This is a big verse! It tells us to imitate God by walking in LOVE. That means loving people the way God loves them. That, dear friends, will take a lifetime of practice!

But that verse also means we can imitate God by using language as He does. This also, fortunately, comes with more proficiency in a lifetime of practice.

Jesus, God's Son [the Word (John 1)], used words to communicate God's TRUTH and to release God's sovereign, creative power through Decree.

He was imitating the Father, not just to prove that he had power, but also to show His followers how we would rule the world in the age to come.

By decree, as royalty.

The AGE TO COME began with his death burial and resurrection! Indeed, it is NOW time for us to imitate Jesus the way Jesus imitates the Father!

Modern science has proven that your voice can release power to your environment. Those who farm or garden will attest that TALKING to your plants, or PRAYING for your crops will produce better results!

“The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.” (Proverbs 18:21, NLT)

The Bible is full of examples of people talking to animals, rocks, bushes and trees. Elijah shut up the heavens, Elisha split the river, and Jesus calmed the wind and the waves, by decree. 

Skeptics and many who worship science believe these Bible stories are merely fairy tales, but lately, Quantum physics brings those stories and teachings of the primitive church into the realm of scientific probability.

Speaking kind and loving words will open up a new reality of possibilities for you, and when those words are grounded in the truth (what you know in your heart to be true) the power from your words increases exponentially!

Moses was commanded to bring water from the rock by decree, but he disobeyed and smote the rock with his trusted staff. God was not happy about it. He really wants us to get this.

Early in the morning, as they were passing by, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots up. Then Peter remembered and said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree that you cursed has withered.” Jesus replied to them, “Have faith in God.

Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, everything you pray and ask for — believe that you have received it and it will be yours. And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven will also forgive you your wrongdoing.”

BLOOD ROYALTY

If you are IN CHRIST then you must recognize that you have been born into a covenant elite bloodline family.

The difference between this elite bloodline family and the elite bloodline families of the Earth is the METHOD of birth. Your birth is not a GENETIC birth. Your birth is, in essence, SPIRITUAL from above. It is an ADOPTED birth. It is a CHOSEN birth.

You discovered yourself to be an orphan who was presented with the choice of adoption into an elite royal family, the family of God, and you said, "YES, I ACCEPT."  You  ACCEPT that you are ACCEPTED.

This birth happened through a mixture of volition and faith.

You understood that it was the desire, the will, of Father God from the eternity past to create an elite bloodline for all humanity to escape the polluted Adamic bloodline. It would be through the shedding of untainted blood, through the bloody tortured death of his perfect firstborn Son, Yeshua. This was an act of good faith toward humanity on their part.

By accepting his offer of adoption, whether or not you knew it, you came into COVENANT with the Creator of all things, who is above all things, who is before all things and who knows all things.

There is no one above him. There was no one before him. There is no one who can instruct him or tell him anything he doesn't know.

You may have accepted his offer of New Birth out of desperation, or you may have come to understand that it was a logical choice. It was your opportunity to reverse every curse in your life that came through your genetic line.

You may have seen that you would be stepping into a higher plane, into a life of royalty.

You may have understood these things at the point of your decision to accept God's free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Or maybe you didn't comprehend all of that, but now you do.

You are growing in your understanding of who you are, of what you are. You are being cultivated like a barren vine cut out of the wild, being grafted into a living vine that produces the best fruit.

You see now that you are more connected to this new family than the family of your first birth. You see now that all the components of your destiny are contained in the seed of God, the nature of God, that is within you from the time you said YES to Christ. There is nothing to do, on your part, except REMAIN in him and DRAW LIFE from him.

You want to dedicate your life to research and discov

er more and more about who is this God and who you have become in Him. But your education will not change your status in the family. What you know you must use to help educate others so that they can enjoy every benefit of living in this royal elite bloodline, connected to LOVE.

You must have by now discovered that God is LOVE. His motivation to grow his family and to bestow rich blessings upon every member of his family is LOVE.

You cannot, you will not ever fully comprehend the depth, the breadth, the width, the height of this LOVE. But you have come to a place of REST and LIVING FAITH. You are CONTENT and have PEACE within this BELIEF, and no person or circumstance will ever shake you out of it.

WHAT IS THE SPIRIT SAYING TO THE CHURCHES?

 Do you attend a “listening church?”

We know how critical it is for each of us to learn to HEAR what the Spirit is saying so that we can enjoy the status of "favored" believers and avoid the pitfalls of life that are unavoidable to those who walk in darkness. 

How much more important is it that the CHURCHES learn to hear and obey God’s voice?

I have been in a number of staff or board meetings where decisions are made that affect the direction of the church (which of course affect the lives of many individuals and families) which begin and/or end with a hurried, token prayer (thank you God, please bless our plans, guide and direct us), or sometimes not even prayer at all. There is no waiting on God the Holy Spirit to get the mind of Christ. 

Many churches never take the time to wait on God to RESPOND. The people are too busy--their schedules are too packed full. An hour and a half that is spent in church  is never enough time to allow God’s spirit to work beneath the surface of their lives because, even during the prayer, worship and sermon, their minds are anxiously racing.

In Revelation chapters two and three, there are exhortations and promises given by the Spirit of Jesus to seven churches in what is now the nation of Turkey. Each exhortation is summed up with these same words: "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches." Jesus brings a stern warning to the backslidden churches; Repent or else. It would seem that these churches did not heed these communications, because none of these churches exist today. 

I have been in meetings when the Holy Spirit clearly impressed the group assembled, and all who were there agreed that the message was from the Lord. Perfect unity. This rarely happened when we were unwilling to ask and wait for His input. It never happened when we settled for a “majority vote.”

There is much comfort in hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit to an assembly (as “discernment” and not an audible voice), as much as clearly hearing him in one’s personal prayer closet. The group always found that it has been worth the extra time to tarry, and also when members agree to fast and pray when making critical or controversial decisions.. 

He who has ears to hear (raise your hand!)--LET HIM HEAR!

ROLL UP YER RAPTURE RUG

My greatest frustration, as a church leader, is seeing how the Bible has been twisted into a pie-in-the-sky religion when in reality, it is a book about government. First, self-government. Then, (peacefully) moving up the heirarchy of jurisdictions to ruling nations. It appears to me as a student of history that the first century Church understood this, but because of persecution as enemies of the state, there was a focus on submission to authority and loving the persecutors. That strategy resulted in an explosion of growth that overwhelmed the government of Rome so much that the emperor had to institutionalize Christianity. 

Over the centuries, much institutionalized Christianity has degenerated to merely becoming saved by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (and/or doing good works) so that you may have eternal security in the age to come. They sing songs and preach sermons about going to heaven, loving your neighbor, and the second coming of Jesus, while the devil incrementally takes over the politics (policy-setting) of this generation. 

As it turns out, loving your neighbors, especially your progeny, should include educating them about the issues and candidates, getting them a ride to the polling place, and in some cases (arguably) telling them how to vote. Jesus: "Be as wise as serpents and innocent as doves."

As a young evangelical, I participated in many of Bible studies which were helpful, and applicable to our personal lives, but rarely given an exortation to build a Christian society, here in this age. The "gospel" to most evangelicals had mostly to do with a future world.

But when Jesus sent his disciples to make converts, it wasn't merely so they could go to heaven. The gospel of the KINGDOM was about bringing heaven to Earth. He told them, "Pray, 'Our Father...Thy kingdom come and Thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven. Deliver Us from evil!'"

So they healed the sick, opened deaf ears and blind eyes, cast out demons, and cleansed lepers (eliminated castes).

Because of the government oppression, there was an emphasis on loving your persecutors. (As the church became institutionalized, persecution of believers came from church leaders.)

But what was supposed to happen after the American revolution? No longer are we submitted to a king or government institution! In a republic people are free to practice their religion of choice; responsible to govern themselves. They can vote and run for office! A person born into poverty can now rise to the top of society and influence policies and decisions that affect the citizen culture.

But we have not treasured these freedoms. Sadly, our babies (those that survive the womb and escape the traffickers) are inheriting one big LIE. The only hope to restore our nation is a church that repents, and wakes up to the current dire situation. 

Let's leave the timing of Christ's second coming to the Father. Jesus said that EVEN HE didn't know the day or hour!

But we do know he is returning for a BRIDE! A Body without spot or blemish that looks like Him. A church united (not necessarity on doctrine, but in the person of Jesus Christ)!

One Christian leader said, "Church, roll up your rapture rug!" In other words, get to work! 

Let's agree to pretend that we have another 500 years before his return to make this world more equitable, more Christian. (If he returns before that, no regrets!) Let's become as concerned about restoring a Judeo-christian republic for the sake of our children and grandchildren as we are their souls for eternity.

GOOD PEOPLE

“Good people leave an inheritance to their grandchildren..." (Pro 13:22, NLT)

Christians who do not have time to vote or educate themselves on the issues or see the need to be involved in government, will leave their children bound in chains resigned to the hollowest credo, "God is in control."

(But God has decreed, “...select from all the people some capable, honest men who fear God and hate bribes. Appoint them as leaders over groups of one thousand, one hundred, fifty, and ten.” Exodus 18:21, NLT)

They will be cursed from the grave by those who have gone before who have sacrificed everything to leave them a Republican form of government. The generation following will bemoan them for allowing the gates of hell to confiscate their freedoms.

What percentage of Christians will be voting this November? Do you know how important your vote is? Do you know that the church should be the most powerful voting block in America if they will simply take one evening to educate themselves on the issues, and 1 hour the first Tuesday in November to vote.

Is it wrong for your pastor to take one sermon a year, one out of 52 sermons to discuss the importance of Christians voting? Many Christians, including pastors, have been deceived into believing that politics is for unbelievers. Thus we live in a country ruled by unbelievers, the county going to hell, while we debate about when will we all escape in the rapture!

Text the phrase ivote to 73075 to get information about getting registered to vote, when to vote, etc.   If your value your freedom for yourself, your children and grandchildren, VOTE.

THE TWO UNLUCKY GOATS 🐐🐐

The holiday celebrated by Israel called Yom Kippur was the holiest day of all. Yom Kippur means day of atonement (covering). It was the day of the year when God would cover all the sins of all the people for a whole year.

There was a special ritual in which two goats were selected from the herd. One goat was sacrificed to God, and it's blood sprinkled in the holiest place on the Ark of the Covenant. The other goat was released alive into the wilderness. The second goat has been called a scapegoat because he escaped death–but to be driven into the wilderness, away from all the people, away from all the other goats was hardly better than death.

This is an Old Testament prophetic picture of the death of Christ to come, when he would make atonement for all of our sins. Before releasing the goat, the high priest would lay his hands on the goat's head and put all of the people's sins on that goat, then send it away and the nation would become blameless in God's sight!

Why did God require two goats for atonement? We know that Jesus died more than one death that day. His physical body was sacrificed, and then his soul (passing through Paradise) went into the deepest part of the earth, where disobedient souls of men go when they are unforgiven.

Jesus predicted this before it happened. He said “For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” (Mat 12:40)

Jonah was swallowed by a fish (whale?) because of his disobedience. You can imagine it was dark and putrid in the belly of the fish. He couldn't eat or drink. He could barely move around. He was cut off from every other living creature. He could only pray (read his mind-blowing prayer in Jonah chapter 2)!

Christ was completely cut off from God and men to suffer alone in the heart of the earth for three days, not for his disobedience, but for OUR disobedience.

Father God accepted the sacrifice of his Son's blood for the sins of all mankind, but Jesus had to carry our sins into the pit to fulfill Micah 7:19, “You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea” and Psalm 103:12,“As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” 

He left them there and rose on the third day just like Jonah came out of the fish. Ephesians 4:9-10 describes how Jesus, once he had fully defeated sin, was taken from the lowest place in the foundation of the Earth to the highest Throne in Heaven, becoming Universal King. 

Importantly, Christ not only COVERED our sins, he removed every trace of them, ETERNALLY, for everyone who puts their trust in him!

My Personal Eschatology

What is my eschatology, my end time doctrine? Is there a imminent rapture or are we a generation or generations removed from his return?

I am about becoming the Bride.

I will embrace the preparation time. Regardless of how long it takes, I am ready today. I'll be ready tomorrow.

Here I am waiting with my lamp trimmed.

Readiness. An analogy for being being filled with the Holy Spirit. I have extra oil. No matter how long it takes I am filled and I have a ready reserve.

In terms of theology, this is what I embrace. Christ is returning for a spotless Bride. He is interceding for a unified body. His prayer:

“I pray for them all to be joined together as one even as you and I, Father, are joined together as one. I pray for them to become one with us so that the world will recognize that you sent me. For the very glory you have given to me I have given them so that they will be joined together as one and experience the same unity that we enjoy.” (Jhn 17:21-22, TPT)

This is the adoption of redeemed humanity into the Godhead. Go back and read those two verses again.

This mitigates every other theory, every end-time doctrine. I don't dismiss any scriptural speculation, but I hold it at arm's length for examination. It interests me but it does not possess me. 

Only my preparation for the Bridegrrom possesses me.

Like a deer by the waterbrook I pant for his presence. 

Like a loyal canine waiting at the door. 

I am not a dog but I have that kind of loyalty for my master, that kind of appreciation for his boarding and feeding of me.

He is the Shepherd of the sheep and one of his flock am I. I am the one that he sought, who had strayed, who was in peril, who is carried back.

The memory of his wrestling with the wild beast of the field on my behalf is vivid. I am held against his beating heart and his lungs heaving, fresh from the battle. So I am twice loyal. 

My theology is personal. Today, and tomorrow, I know his voice and I follow him.

The DEATH and REBIRTH of America

For quite a while I have been getting a rumbling in my spirit that the United States of America needs to undergo a simulated death and rebirth. In my soul I didn't want to accept that (the Death part!). I suspect what is coming will be bad, but I didn't think it would be THAT bad. [But (the Lord says), we still have not gotten to 2 Chronicles 7 :14: (as a people). God is going to bring COMPLETE HEALING but first there must be a COMPLETE HUMBLING.]

Then a couple weeks ago I heard a well-known prophet say, "...the USA will undergo a near-death experience," and something connected inside of me.

The Holy Spirit reminded me of my own near-death experience in 1984. After a severe accident and an emergency surgery to save my life, I was moved to ICU. Terry, my young wife, was told that my chances for making it through the night were very slim. Our pastors and other church members who had surrounded her for hours with prayer during the surgery had begun to slack off. My body (hooked up to multiple wires and tubes) began to convulse wildly (due to having undergone severe trauma over a period of almost 12 hours, and having received 17 units of blood through transfusion). My wife watched this horror show, feeling helpless. Although it was late, she hurried to a pay phone and roused my pastor out of sleep. "Everyone has stopped praying! Please let everyone know they need to keep praying!"

A pastor was soon at the hospital, and we were never again without a pastor there until I received a better prognosis.

A few days later when I regained consciousness, Terry was recounting to me everything that had transpired since I had been thrown out of a moving vehicle across three lanes of traffic. When she got to the part about what happened in ICU--my body thrashing and convulsing--I recalled it distinctly, but I remembered watching it like a bystander from somewhere near the ceiling. My spirit had been hovering and watching what was happening, though I do not remember any fear or even concern about it.

"In the same way," says the Lord, "those who are with me will be protected from fear or disturbance during what is about to transpire. You will be kept in peace by my Spirit (Isaiah 26:3-6)," says the Lord. "Even as those who were being delivered of unclean spirits by my Son would sometimes thrash and convulse to the horror of the onlookers (some even appeared to have died when the demons were gone out), so it will be as the USA, the  apple of my eye, will appear to undergo a traumatic shaking.

"However, my disciples, who were working with me then, casting out Satan, were not afraid at all. They were at peace. They  knew what was happening--they saw what was unseen by others.

"So shall those be who are standing with me in this hour. Others will say, 'This is the end!' but those who have their senses trained will be unruffled. They are protected in the secret place. That is, they know the SECRET, they SEE the UNSEEN--that this is NOT the DEATH of AMERICA, but rather a casting out of SATAN for her AWAKENING, REBIRTH and TRANSFORMATION.

"And so it will come to pass, as the Apostle predicted, 'The God of PEACE will shortly CRUSH SATAN under your feet, as you are surrounded by my favor (Romans 16:20)!'"

This Kind Comes Out...

Luke 10:17-18 (KJV) "And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven."

What was Jesus doing while they were going through the valley from village to village casting out devils? Jesus was on the mountain pulling down those facilitators of wickedness in high places. When we see those higher-up devils being shaken, we know that the little ones will have to scatter.

That's why Jesus said, "This kind can come out only by prayer." (Mark 9:29) Through prayer we can pull down the principality who is controlling the demon who is possessing or oppressing the person. Then it is quite easy to run that little devil off!

Don't Forget To Remember Today

I spend enough time in the Lord's presence every day to remind myself of who I am in Christ, how much I am loved by God, and what I can do through his power. I also recount his mighty works towards humanity and specifically in my own life. Then I am ready to face the day.

Forgetting those things seems to be all too easy--so remembering these things must be intentional. There is some work involved.

Sometimes, conversely, our failures and shortcomings seem to loom in front of us as obstacles. But we can choose to dismiss these thoughts. 

Paul says, "..I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on..."

Philippians 3:13‭-‬14 NLT. 

His past way of life, religious jihadism, could have weighed him down with regret but he chose to dismiss any memories of that old man who died on the road to Damascus. And keep moving upward.

Remembering who we are in Christ must be a daily intentional act. And for some of us, forgetting must be a daily practice. 

It surely is worth the effort, and with rigorous training, it becomes more natural to think of yourself as a supernatural being who is wearing a mantle of authority, who is commissioned by the God man Jesus to go and BE JESUS (that is, Jesus himself living big in you and living through you) to your family, to your coworkers, to your cohorts.

Standing Resting

"Eph 6:13  Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."

          *       *       *       *       *

I woke this morning to the sound of high winds ripping across our usually placid neighborhood and was impressed with this thought-- “He’s on his way out!”

The word God gave me about a year ago (when everything started turning upside down all around us) was about how when the devil is exorcised, he doesn’t leave willingly. 

We see that when Christ cast out demons, they always, invariably threw a tantrum. Jesus was unflappable and confident that the demons were leaving, but others in the crowd must have been horrified and shaken.The demons sometimes shrieked and screamed, they foamed at the mouth. They spat and cussed and turned things over and cast people down, leaving them bruised, shaken and sometimes lifeless. Occasionally, they (at first) refused to go, and argued.

While many were wringing their hands this past year concerning troubles: a supposed pandemic, unemployment, businesses shuttering, election fraud, evildoers being exposed and deposed, etc., I would remind myself to celebrate because we are actually seeing the answer to our prayers playing out. I tried to comfort others who were distraught but many Christians I know are believing we are heading into “the Great Tribulation!” 

The Warrior depicted in Ephesians 6:10-18 is not tense. He may be surrounded by a thousand evil entities trying to take him down. The “day of evil,” or intense shaking, (Hebrews 12:26-27) doesn’t ruffle his feathers at all. He knows that this armor will protect him.

Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident… my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will SING... (Psalms 27:3-6)

He is standing at rest. He is singing! He knows that evil must be exposed before it can be purged. 

Have you been upset at the pervading evil and injustice in our land, praying that God will expose the evildoers and remove them from positions of power, prominence and influence? 

If you have not been burdened to pray this way, then you haven’t been able to see the corruption that God sees. You must be made to see with His eyes. 

There is a remnant of prayer warriors who have been praying and proclaiming freedom for God’s people for a long time now. If you are part of that company, then you are, with me, in an attitude of standing and resting and waiting for coming BLESSING.

WHAT IF...?

I don't know for sure, but what if...? 

...the people who appointed the Warren Commission are the same people who assassinated JFK?

...the people who fund or create souped-up viruses in labs are the same people own shares in big pharma "cures"?

...the people who say miracles have ceased are just rebranded Pharisees who sterilize the Scriptures to make themselves look "studied"?

...the elected officials who promise to solve the problem actually have little interest in really fixing it because it gives us a reason to reelect them? 

...they call it medical PRACTICE because they are not really sure of what they are doing, and they can rationalize so many deaths in their "healing institutions"?

..."climate change" is another reason for the ruling class to tax us and keep us under while they own big cars and yachts and jet all over the world?

...Jesus is what He said He is-- "The Way, the Truth and the Life"--and nothing we do in life matters unless we first run it though Him?

When the Button Pops--Exposure!

I learned that the name Bi.den means Button (ancestors were button makers)! I was soaking in God's Presence, asking the Lord if there was some significance to the current White House resident being named "Button."  And I received the following download.

I saw or had an impression in my mind of a man's stomach growing fatter and a BUTTON was straining to hold his shirt together. 

Then the Lord said, "They installed Bi.den thinking that he would 'BUTTON it down,' that is, finish the work begun by his predecessors, but he will fail to accomplish this." 

I believe the shirt represents a "cover-up." I sensed that the Lord was saying, "When the Button (Bi.den) pops, there will be GREAT EXPOSURE." The increasingly fat stomach represents the GROWING ANOINTING that is a result of much prayer and more people waking up and standing up and DECLARING the TRUTH.

And the Spirit of the Lord said, "The anointing will break and destroy the yoke that holds the people in bondage." So I was aware that this Bi.den is straining to keep the naked truth from being exposed, and also attempting to maintain a yoke of bondage over anointed patriots who can not and will not any longer tolerate it. 

And my mind's eye I saw this button pop and fly away suddenly. So look for this to happen suddenly, the exposure and the breaking of the bondage. It will be the beginning of a restoration of a government of the people, by the people, for the people! Amen

THE POWER TO DECREE

You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you...

Job 22:28 NKJV 

If we are created in God's image, then we are beset with royal propensities. Like children of royalty, we possess the inclination of Kings, but we still need to be trained in the ways of royalty.

Our Parents heard Him say, "(You are made for this.) Have DOMINION over the whole Earth." (See Genesis 1:28) So all of the children have DOMINION in their DNA.

We do. 

Today I watched on television, a pro golfer driving a ball toward the green. A strong wind was blowing to the left and I read his lips, "Go right! Go right!" He jabbed the air with his hand as if the ball looking back at him should obey him.

I doubt that he ever learned from a coach to talk to the flying ball, or to affect the driving wind with his speech. That wasn't coming from his intellect, but rather from his instinct. 

It never occurred to any of the disciples to stand up in the boat and tell the storm to quit. None of their experience or training as fishermen made them ready to do that. But the Master stood up in the stern (I imagine he pointed his finger or gestured with his hands--or not) and spoke, "'Peace, be still!' And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm" (Mark 4:39).

If that is not amazing enough, He then turned to his disciples and rebuked them for their lack of faith!

They had listened to the voice of intellect, and not their DNA. 

"They said to one another, 'Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?'" 

But Jesus was thinking, "How long will it take these bozos to catch on? We have a commission from heaven to change the world, and they were going to let a little storm shut them down!"

The king doesn't make himself a sandwich; he tells someone else to make him a sandwich. A king doesn't fight the war, he gives the order, and thousands armor-up for battle.

I'm not talking about ordering people, or bossing God. I don't do that. 

I'm talking about commanding the devil. Ordering mountains out of the way. Speaking peace to your chaos.

If the mountain doesn't move right away, don't give up. You are a baby king. You are a llittle queen. Practicing.

Living in a Material World

The 1973 release of the album "Living in a Material World" musically portrayed a dilemma that George Harrison faced in living a spiritual life while experiencing the increasing material pressures of  super stardom. It reminds me of the current dilemma faced by spiritual people in a material world dominated by physical and medical troubles and supposed solutions that exclude any spiritual thinking. 

How do we communicate our Christian faith in a world that has shut spiritual people out of the conversation? Worldly people  hold a perspective that Christians are people who are AGAINST everything, who have no real answers to contribute. But true believers are not by nature contrarians--they are actually looking to promote what is the most beneficial way of living, both for individuals and for the world, in this world and the next, by speaking from a higher plain.

But how do we first form our own convictions so we may inject something sensible into a convoluted narrative?  The simplest way to do this is to balance everything with the person of Jesus. What would Jesus do? In the current tension between good people that is arising because of the fear of spreading Covid-19, is it helpful to imagine Jesus in our world today, or if you prefer, seeing a pandemic in Jesus' world 2000 years ago. Would Jesus wear a mask? Would Jesus social distance? What about hand washing? In the world of Jesus, medical science and religion had created very strict rules for those with  leprosy. This was an incurable disease, and so every leper was in a permanent state of quarantine. They were required to cover their faces and isolate themselves from healthy people. 

It was breaking social norms and the laws of Moses for the leper to come running toward Jesus, and fall at his feet. Yet, instead of being offended, Jesus commended his faith, embraced the leper, and the disease was healed. Then, amazingly, he instructed his disciples to follow his example. "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give." (Matthew 10:8)

So we see in the mind of Jesus there is no quarantine. He actually flips our thinking by helping us understand that in the Kingdom of God, it would be disobedience NOT to approach the leper and offer cleansing!

On the other hand, the Bible does teach that one person's faith can make another person stumble if it is not joined with love and consideration for that other person. Example: one person has faith to eat certain kinds of food or drink, but another person would sin by eating and drinking the same meal because their own conscience would condemn them. We are taught to be careful not to cause another person to sin or to condemn another for practicing their personal convictions about food and other debatable things. We might extend this principle to the current quandary concerning who should wear a mask and who should social distance. One person believes the mask is an effective barrier to germs, and another person believes that the mask is a germ collector and a hindrance to a person's respiratory health.

This is something to consider in certain circumstances. But, understanding that the Kingdom of Jesus is about breaking down walls and promoting reconciliation and healing (between God and man, people groups, and individuals) should elevate the debate to a higher plain. Masking and distancing weakens our community (Kingdom) connections. We forego bonding in the  marketplace because we either don't recognize each other or we are programmed to avoid each other for the sake of remaining "healthy." We isolate to feel safe, but to Jesus, isolation is the enemy of reconciliation. 

Truly spiritual people living out their faith in a material world will not bypass the scriptural commands to associate with the lowly (possibly unsanitary), to assemble together with peers at "church" or from house to house, to lay hands on others to impart healing and spiritual gifts, to anoint each other and pray for each other, and to greet one another with holy embraces and even affectionate kisses. The radical nature of Kingdom relationships challenges the "good sense" of Covid-19 mandates.  

In His commission to go everywhere and embrace the world's people through preaching the good news, Jesus sought to remove every fear in the minds of the disciples by predicting every possible scenario or obstacle they might face, "And he said to them, 'As you go into all the world, preach openly the wonderful news of the gospel to the entire human race! ...And these miracle signs will accompany those who believe: They will drive out demons [ALL FEAR] in the power of my name. They will speak in tongues [overcoming cultural and language barriers]. They will be supernaturally protected from snakes and from drinking anything poisonous. And they will lay hands on the sick and heal them.'” (Mark 16:15-18)

So, the believers who refuse to wear face coverings may not necessarily  be AGAINST masks and distancing, but they should be, by their love, FOR everyone, fearlessly announcing and demonstrating the coming of a Kingdom in which coronavirus  and vaccines are no longer a topic of discussion. The dominion of Christ looks like God's original design for the earth, where human connections know no skin color, gender differences or economic barriers, and the celebration of mercy and justice and goodness is a constant fountain of life.

Casting Out Demons

[Jesus] commanded the demon, saying, “Deaf and mute spirit, I command you to come out of him and never enter him again!” The demon shrieked and threw the boy into terrible seizures and finally came out of him! As the boy lay there, looking like a corpse, everyone thought he was dead. But Jesus stooped down, gently took his hand, and raised him up to his feet, and he stood there completely set free! (Mark 9:25-27)

Notice that when Jesus or his disciples cast out demons, at first it appears that the situation grows WORSE. If you have had an opportunity to cast out a demon, you have seen this first hand. The demon will try to convince you that it is in control, that it doesn't have to leave, and if you back down or allow fear to replace your standing in Christ, the demon will win. But the reality is, the demon MUST obey and leave, as long as that person wants to be free, and YOU KNOW that "He who is in you is [WAY] greater than he who is in the world." (1 John 4:4)

Take heart, believer. Don't stop praying. It looks like the church is losing the battle for America, but what if the crazy lunacy that has disrupted all of our lives in 2020 is the Devil's last ditch effort to convince us that he is in control, that America belongs to the ungodly.

He is losing control of the media narrative, the government, arts, the economy, and more. Church attendance is down in many places, but what if God is restructuring the churches? What if after this shaking, the western church looks more like the early Church?-- vibrant, authentic and hospitable!

Don't stop praying. Don't stop believing that God will work through the evil to bring something better than you or I can imagine. 

Stand your ground! Pray for America!

RICKY GERVAIS vs HOLLYWOOD

While Christians are exhorted  by the Scriptures to speak blessings upon those who curse us and turn the cheek, there is also the command to "speak the Truth in love." That does not mean to sugar-coat reality but rather to be motivated by love enough to confront the lies that try to bind (and blind) us. There is no contradiction here; it's all about timing. "There is a time for everything in it's season..."

From the Scriptures we learn that it is a blessing to have a friend who will speak the Truth into our lives, although it is not necessarily what we want to hear. 

Also, there is a gift called the prophet who is given, in part, to shake up hypocrites in high places, in and out of the Church. 

Though the Church should embrace these ministries, such "friends and prophets" are often branded as dissenters and quite likely end up chained in dungeons or with their heads on chopping blocks (e.g. Jeremiah, John the Baptist). The greatest emphasis of our Savior's earthly ministry was that of a prophet/teacher, and it made him very unpopular with the quasi-political religious leaders.

Many Believers were not offended by Ricky Gervais's monologue at the Golden globe awards this week because it was a strong poke in the eyes of corrupt Hollywood moguls, who consistently mock evangelicals and conservatives with no retribution. We are thrilled with him right now for the same reason that we love Donald Trump; not because he is a good Christian who "plays by the rules" but because, he is not afraid to speak Truth to power, whether hypocrisy in government(s), the news media, or the entertainment world. (I do pray for Trump, Hollywood, and for Gervais, an atheist who barely tolerates those who thank God in their acceptance speeches.) 

Together with Gervais and Trump, who risk being labeled as bullies, we celebrate the demise of institutions of sub-performing elites who care only about themselves and nothing for the people who provide their bread and butter.

May God raise up more prophets in the Church who will speak uncompromisingly in the pulpit and the public square, wherever and whatever the spirit of the Lord would direct them. And may the Church be willing to even recognize the "secular" prophet or prince who may unwittingly be an instrument in the hand of the Lord.

HOW to KNOW if YOU are BELIEVING a LIE

So many competing voices! Which voices to pay attention and which to tune out?🎎🃏🎶🎙️📢💱🔬

What makes it less complicated is to realize that there are really only TWO voices among the frey. The TRUTH and the LIE. 🎭

(If you ask me where I was yesterday morning I could make up twenty stories 🤥or tell the TRUTH😇.)

Now it is much simpler. Ask “How do I discern TRUTH?”🙌🏻

This becomes even easier if you can answer affirmatively, “I 💖TRUTH. I am seeking TRUTH.”👂

It helps to realize you have a champion in your corner, Holy Spirit!👆 He is God’s agent to reveal TRUTH to the heart and mind of the SEEKER. 👀

Invite God’s Holy Spirit 🌬️ to reveal TRUTH. Let Him choose which voices you should listen to. He will not brainwash you, He will (re-) EDUCATE you properly.🦉

You don't need me or anyone else to tell you what to think. If you 💖 and seek TRUTH, the voice of TRUTH will resound amidst the other voices and anchor your heart even when chaos or confusion SEEMS to be reigning.
